About Me
My journey into the realm of psychotherapy began during my tenure as a Physiotherapist Assistant at Sunnybrook Hospital. In this role, I gained invaluable insights into the profound interconnection between an individual's mental health, physical well-being, and overall vitality. Over the past eight years, I have honed my expertise in providing compassionate care to individuals (16+), couples, and groups facing diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, identity crises, trauma, and navigating life transitions. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and an Anti-Oppressive and Trauma-Informed lens. I tailor my methods to meet the unique needs of each client, reflecting my commitment to fostering holistic well-being. With a rich tapestry of experience and knowledge, I am dedicated to the ethos of One Peace Therapy.
At One Peace Therapy, we embody the essence of holistic wellness. Our practice extends support to individuals (ages 10 and older), couples, families, and groups, addressing both mental and physical health concerns. In addition to our virtual services, we welcome clients to our Toronto location for in-person sessions. As part of our commitment to community well-being, we organize FREE psychoeducational events for both existing clientele and the general public. Our comprehensive Psychotherapy and Nutritional services cater to a spectrum of challenges, including stress, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, depression, womxn's health issues, identity exploration, neurodivergence, chronic diseases, and weight monitoring concerns. While specializing in serving the BIPOC community, One Peace Therapy embraces individuals from all ethnicities and identities. Let's connect and build a network that fosters growth and well-being for everyone!
